SRINAGAR: Joint Action Committee of Engineering Graduates Association an amalgamation of J&K Civil Engineers Graduates Association (JKCEGA), J&K Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) and J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) welcomed the appointment of Arun Kumar Mehta as the new Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.
A statement issued by the association here, praised the new Chief Secretary of the decisions he took as the Financial Commissioner, Finance department towards the development of J&K, while terming them “revolutionary and historic”.
“We whole heartedly welcome Mr. Arun Kumar Mehta as the Chief Secretary of J&K and extend our full support and cooperation in taking the Jammu & Kashmir to new heights of the development,” read the statement.
The presidents of JKMEGA Er. Firdous Ahad Bhat, JKCEGA Er. Farooq Ahmad Ganie, and JKEEGA Er. Munshi Majid while concluding the statement the association expressed hope that the new Chief Secretary will address the issues of engineers, in particularly the much awaited issuance of SRO for the already approved ACP Scheme.
