SRINAGAR: The always smiling Fida Ali is no more. As a senior officer in the Department of Information and Public Relations, Fida Ali was Information Officer to former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

His daily meetings in his chamber would always be like friendly chats where subordinates instead of justifying their mistakes would humbly report them.
